Artist, Marketing & Graphic Design Specialist

I’m an artist, marketing, and graphic design professional based in Maryland. I’ve always enjoyed creating art since my childhood. When I was a toddler, my parents found out I was hard of hearing and I also had a vision impairment. Creating art is therapeutic for me. My grandmother and aunts were artists that inspired me in my creative journey. My favorite artist is Georgia O’Keeffe. I have an Associates in Art degree and certificate in Graphic Design: Print and Web from Montgomery College. After attending Montgomery College, I studied at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Art Education and minor in Art Therapy. After graduating, I attended the George Washington University’s (GWU) master’s program in Art Therapy in Washington, DC. I’ve provided marketing and graphic design services for a variety of industries including mortgage, information technology, and healthcare for over 26 years. I also volunteer and provide marketing services for Mill Creek Towne Garden Club, my neighborhood garden club. I provide freelance art (drawings and paintings) and digital marketing services for individuals, small businesses, instructors, and nonprofit organizations in the Washington, DC area.

I’m a member of the Gaithersburg Fine Arts Association (GFAA) and the Art League of Germantown (ALOG). My art is available for sale at ALOG shows, GFAA shows, and through private commissions.
